A marvelous piece of American watchmaking history! An original 1948 American made Bulova His Excellency with a 10K gold filled case, distinct lugs, creamy patina dial, elegant pencil hands, and original signed crown. Comes with a new aftermarket dark brown leather strap.

Movement: Bulova USA Made Mechanical Manual Wind Cal. 7AK - 21 Jewels. Time only. Sub seconds. Runs and keeps time within -95 seconds per day. Although running, we do recommend getting this timepiece a service for optimal timekeeping and longevity. If you would like us to service this watch, please reach out to us via Instagram or email after purchasing. Our price for a Full Service will add $159 and approx. 4 weeks turnaround time.
In great vintage condition. Light wear consistent with age. Dial has warm even patina. Crystal has a few light scuffs towards the center. Aftermarket strap is new and is good for daily use. Case appears to have initials scratched on the back, this must have been done by the previous owner by hand, not professionally engraved. See photos for details - they are part of the description. Overall a very nice piece that is ready to wear and enjoy.
